Excellent bed. Lovely hotel and very friendly hosts. Much recommended. We had a family suite upstairs which was great for nanny's separate accommodation. Great location for exploring the area. Caves definitely worth a visit

Cinnamons Indian Restaurant

Great lamb madras with lots of taste. Added vegetables and rather than the usual peas and sweet corn they added a variety. Only let down was slightly too much oil on the top when serving it out.

great food and staff friendly.bit small building if was busy.

Ritmo Tapas Bar

23 Market Pl, Coleford GL16 8AG, UK – 01594 836408

Excellent tapas - well, most of the time. We've been to Ritmo's quite a few times now and have always had an excellent meal and great service from the friendly staff. There's plenty of choice on the menu, something for everyone, and the portions are generous. The last time we went, however, the avocado was nowhere near ripe - you couldn't even cut it with a knife! Despite being the third party to complain, the chef was not good at accepting any critiscm and insisted that it was ripe. The rest of the Tapas was excellent so we're not going to be put off going again just because one dish was below par. Well worth trying it out if you're visiting the Forest of Dean.

My girlfriend and I were in desperate need of some good comfort food after a downpour of rain in the Forest of Dean last August. Ritmo offered us a warm and generous welcome, and the food was top notch. We ordered a series of tapas and each one was delicious. The staff were amazingly friendly and made it a great experience. Wonderful atmosphere and highly recommend!
